The food was delicious, lots of it and our server Heydon was very attentive. They have a full bar, space for large groups and a separate banquet room for parties. This was our first visit to this hidden gem. We will return!

Since I see it's been about two years since anyone has posted a review about the chicken marsala, I thought that I should... Since the reviews about the chicken marsala were from a few years ago, I asked the server if it was the same chef, and she said yes, and that he has been cooking for this restaurant for 25 years! The chicken marsala was very good, except that I believe they used the sweet marsala instead of the dry. I can see why people who like sweet loved it, but my personal preference is not to have it so sweet. However, it was a very tasty dish! (When I make it at home, I combine a little bit of the sweet with the dry.) The bread was "ok," but it would be much more authentic if they served a more traditional crusty Italian bread that was more dense to dip into the olive oil and balsamic vinegar that they serve with it. The music was nice, mostly Italian pop and some of the tenors, but it would be nice if they played some Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, etc., as well. (And had a better sound system!) The lighting is nice, could be a bit dimmer and more romantic, but it is not uncomfortable. In the photos, the pizzas from their pizza oven look amazing (but not wood-fired; I asked), so the next time I come, I will surely try the pizza. I definitely will come back, because I do like coming to watch concerts at the Magnolia, and this would be a great place have a bite to eat before the concert!

Went in on a Friday afternoon, the place was super busy. We were seated after a few minutes. The gentleman that sat and served us was great. The food was delicious. This is our usual pizza place. This day was extremely busy but the gentleman managed well, thank you for that. We had three cheese pizza, a couple of salads and heavenly lobster Mac and cheese. I love the food and service. Thank you Testo!!!

Try the lasagna! It's splendid.. Nice atmosphere right off of East main Street... Sometimes you can get the car shows out front for a nice viewing experience. Fast friendly service.. would definitely recommend for families

Best Italian food in El Cajon, CA. I love their Cappellini AL Pomodoro Fresco, but their meat sauce is so good too!!! Great place for a date night or out with the family. Good wine and desserts as well

Took my daughter here for an Sunday lunch. We were the first ones there so service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant quickly filled up though. We ordered a large thin crust Sicilian pizza with mushrooms and the lobster mac and cheese. The crust was really good but the center did not hold up well to the sauce. The lobster mac and cheese was pretty tasty but lobster wasn't easy to find. It was a pleasant visit and the food good. We'll come back to try other dishes!

Great food experience Service was great Server went above and beyond I am very happy and coming back forsure

Now if you want some outstanding Italian food made from the heart this place is it! Perfect for date night or to bring family. The menu is large and prices are very reasonable, practically half off of what you'd find in little Italy. They also have a great happy hour menu, glass of their house wine $5. Food was OUTSTANDING, my boyfriend and I agreed one of the best meals we've ever had from start to finish. The cheese bread was so soft and cheesy and absolutely delicious. The salad was fresh and flavorful. The pasta was on another level of deliciousness, I got the lobster and shrimp pasta and it was so creamy and flavorful. The lobster was outstanding and cooked to perfection. This was an outstanding dish. The fettuccine Alfredo was another win as well as the manicotti. Portions were huge and very satisfying. Service was also fantastic the entire time. I can't wait to come back to try more of the menu. This is a hidden gem that really blew us away.

The BEST Gluten Free Pizza I've ever had in a restaurant! Customer service was EXCELLENT! Waiter/Manager was attentive, efficient & friendly. Food & Ambiance AWESOME! They have cozy outside seating. Also have Gluten Free Raviolis. And some of the best Italian Food.

In the heart of main street El Cajon sit this charming family business. They have been there for 7 years and hail from the Ukraine. Mom ordered a garden salad which she enjoyed and a half sized eggplant sandwich which she thoroughly enjoyed. She was impressed by the thickness of the eggplant, that it wasn't overly breaded and she really enjoyed the sauce. The sauce is her go to in rating a restaurant and they passed with fling colors! Dad had the linguine. The make this completely from scratch for the real authentic experience. You can taste the true Parmegian. However it's not the creamy American version (ie Olive Garden) so be prepared for a slightly new experience. I had 1/2 a grilled chicken salad which was a nice size and used real blue cheese crumbles. Dressing was yummy and on the side. Also had an oddball option - New England clam chowder. Much like the linguine, this isn't your standard thick chowder. You know what? I liked it!! So an unexpected surprise! Overall we enjoyed our night out.
